US-Bangla Airlines boosts its fleet to 23 planes, becoming Bangladesh’s largest airline with new Airbus A330-300 & Boeing 737-800 additions.
US-Bangla Airlines has recently expanded its collection of aircraft by adding two new models, the Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 737-800, positioning itself as the leading airline in Bangladesh in terms of the number of planes in its fleet.
The airline’s inventory now boasts 23 aircraft, surpassing the national carrier Biman’s fleet of 21 planes.
The arrival of the Airbus A330-300, a large capacity aircraft with 436 seats, was marked at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:10 pm from Guangzhou, China, on Friday. The plane’s entry was celebrated with a traditional water cannon salute.
Captain Lutfor Rahman, the CEO of US-Bangla Airlines, was present to welcome the new addition to the fleet, according to a press release.
This aircraft is set to serve routes to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, and Kuala Lumpur. Additionally, there are future plans for the Airbus A330-300 to fly to London, Rome, and several destinations in Saudi Arabia including Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam.
The Airbus A330-300 is noted as the 23rd plane in the US-Bangla fleet, the press release mentioned.
Earlier the same day, at 4:10 am, the airline’s 22nd plane, a Boeing 737-800, arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from a journey that included stops in Georgia and Serbia.
On February 3rd, US-Bangla also welcomed an ATR 72-600, marking it as their 21st aircraft.
The airline’s fleet is now composed of one Airbus A330-300, nine Boeing 737-800s, ten ATR 72-600s, and three Dash 8-Q400 aircraft, with plans to introduce another Airbus A330-300 in the near future.
US-Bangla Airlines operates frequent flights across all domestic routes and international destinations including Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Guangzhou.
