The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will introduce the acclaimed Venice Beach produce-forward restaurant, Gjelina, to its renowned food and beverage lineup later this year.

This exciting addition strengthens The Venetian Resort’s reputation as the premier culinary destination in Las Vegas. Gjelina will join over thirty esteemed restaurants at the resort, featuring chef-driven concepts from industry icons like Thomas Keller, Wolfgang Puck, Tetsuya Wakuda, Lorena Garcia, Emeril Lagasse, and Eyal Shani.

“Gjelina marks a new class of culinary talent at The Venetian as we continue to position our resort as the ultimate food destination in a constantly evolving market,” said President and Chief Executive Officer of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, Patrick Nichols. “Gjelina’s farm-to-table dining experience is a perfect match for our sustainability commitment as we work together with local purveyors to bring the freshest ingredients to the Las Vegas Strip.”

This Vegas outpost marks the third location for Gjelina, a SoCal favorite celebrated nationally for its locally sourced dishes. Named after founder Fran Camaj’s mother, Gjelina embodies a foundation of family values. The Gjelina Group is dedicated to creating hospitality experiences driven by simplicity and purpose. The original Gjelina, launched from Fran’s apartment on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice Beach in 2008, set the benchmark for sustainable restaurant practices and remains a leading example of sustainable dining today. Following its success, Gjelina Group introduced Gjusta, an all-day café named after Camaj’s aunt, as well as Gjusta Goods, Gjusta Grocer, and most recently, Gjelina New York City.

The Gjelina Group, in collaboration with Bishop Pass, designed the new space, which will be situated in the heart of Restaurant Row.

“The Venetian has offered us an opportunity to expand our footprint & learn from their support and expertise as we actively look to take Gjelina into new markets” says Shelley Armistead, partner and CEO of Gjelina Group. “As we embark on this growth, we’re eager to bring our relaxed Venice Beach sensibility to the bustling atmosphere of The Venetian Resort.”

Bringing its signature Californian cuisine to Las Vegas, the new Gjelina location will maintain the same menu format and sourcing initiatives as its Los Angeles and New York City counterparts. Committed to supporting local farmers, Gjelina is excited to direct more dollars into their pockets. Guests can enjoy lunch and dinner at this unique dining experience, with reservations available throughout the day.
