Brian Busscher was presented with this esteemed award on July 30 during the 2024 MAED Annual Conference in Harris, Michigan. His peers across the state commended him for his outstanding leadership, profound expertise, and unwavering commitment to advancing the mission of the MAED. Brian’s efforts have been pivotal in providing legislative guidance, developing solutions, and promoting best practices that have significantly benefited the entire profession.
As the chair of the MAED Standards Committee, Brian has exemplified exceptional leadership, offering invaluable support and assistance to association members. His work has been instrumental in standardizing and enhancing the systems used by counties, townships, and cities throughout Michigan. Brian is highly respected by his colleagues for his integrity, knowledge, and dedication. His contributions have not only strengthened the MAED but have also positively influenced the work of equalization professionals across the state.
