Local Explorers, which is a foremost architect of personalized mobile loyalty apps for the tourism and
hospitality sector, has extended its influence once more with its New Hampshire Wine Trail app, shaped
for the New Hampshire Winery Association (NHWA).
This is a digital improvement to the association’s popular paper-based Wine Passport, letting users find participating wineries close to them, know about distinct wineries and their offers, and plan their individual outings of wineries according to their preference.
Moreover, the app incentivizes survey and discovery by presenting badges and rewards for touring
several wineries. The NHWA envisioned the app as a method not only to revolutionize its passport program, but to grow its online influence, said Mark LaClair from NHWA.
With the app, wine devotees touring through New Hampshire can suitably get hold of time-sensitive,
pertinent info not offered on the NHWA’s website, for example, updates on exclusive deals at particular
wineries. LaClair said that each member winery can modernize its own statistics, for example, things like
tasting room hours or arrangements that they have for now or for this weekend.
The NHWA is not the only group that understands the prospect of the app for improving the state’s winery and tourism sector. To encourage the app, the association applied for and gained a Champions of New Hampshire Farms, Agricultural Natural Resources Promotion Grant from the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture. LaClair said that they have especially applied for the fund to encourage this new app, which pushes people to their tasting rooms, which motivates them to purchase wines that are prepared from farming that they grow.
