The lineup of new routes for the Christmas Market includes: Belfast International to Krakow, East Midlands to Vienna, Glasgow to Berlin, Glasgow to Vienna, Liverpool John Lennon to Krakow, Liverpool John Lennon to Prague, and Manchester to Berlin.
Moreover, the surge in demand for the Winter 24/25 Christmas Market destinations has led to the addition of extra capacity and an extended season for other popular market locations.
Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will serve seven Christmas Market destinations during Winter 24/25 – Berlin, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Krakow, Prague, and Vienna – from eleven UK airports, including Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted. The Winter 24/25 Christmas Markets program will offer over 100,000 seats, reflecting a capacity increase of more than 30% compared to the previous winter season.
Details of the enhanced Christmas Market services include:
- Belfast International Airport introducing a new route to Krakow with services on Monday and Friday from late November to mid-December 2024.
- Birmingham Airport adding Thursday and Sunday flights to Budapest from late November 2024 to early January 2025, with the season for Cologne also extended.
- Bristol Airport extending its Christmas Market seasons to Prague and Vienna with additional flights.
- East Midlands Airport launching a new route to Vienna with twice-weekly services during late November to late December 2024.
- Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, and Manchester Airports each introducing or extending routes to various Christmas Market destinations.
