IndiGo, a favored airline in India, has launched non-stop flights connecting Mumbai with Ayodhya starting from January 15, 2024. These daily flights will enhance the convenience of traveling between India’s bustling financial hub and the revered city in Uttar Pradesh, known for its significant temples.
As a pioneer, IndiGo initiated services from the newly opened Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023. Following this, the airline has consistently operated flights linking Delhi and Ahmedabad with Ayodhya.
On this occasion, Vinay Malhotra, the Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to launch non-stop flights between Mumbai and Ayodhya. This initiative connects three key cities (Delhi, Ahmedabad, and now Mumbai) to Ayodhya shortly after the airport’s opening. Our customers now have various choices for reaching Ayodhya through our extensive 6E network, both within India and internationally. As the foremost airline in India, we are dedicated to offering our customers uninterrupted connectivity throughout the country and maintaining our commitment to providing affordable, punctual, courteous, and hassle-free travel experiences.”

The city is dotted with numerous ancient temples, ghats, and holy sites that attract pilgrims and global travelers. The upcoming Ram Mandir is especially notable among these attractions.
