Experience luxury and culinary excellence at the new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas, offering stunning views, unique dining, and world-class amenities.
The brand-new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol has officially opened its doors.
“When we decided to create a second Four Seasons experience in Los Cabos, we wanted to continue raising the bar, creating a distinctive yet complementary experience in this beloved destination,” says Rainer Stampfer, Four Seasons President, Global Operations, Hotels and Resorts. “Every detail of this resort is designed to set the stage for not just a great vacation, but a holiday that will be remembered for a lifetime. Inspired by Pueblos Mágicos – Mexican towns known for their enchanting qualities – we are so pleased to welcome you with genuine warmth and care at the newest Four Seasons in our growing Mexican portfolio.”
Located just 30 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) and 15 minutes from the Cabo San Lucas private airport (CSL), the newly opened resort presents a modern take on the traditional hacienda, inspired by Mexico’s historic estates. Designed by architect Robert Glazier and interior designers Meyer Davis and EDG, the resort beautifully merges traditional Mexican elements with contemporary luxury, forming a lively Riviera-style village. The property features 96 guest rooms and suites, along with 61 residences, villas, and estates, all offering stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. Guests can enjoy eight exceptional restaurants and bars, three swimming pools, a spacious spa, a private art gallery, a boutique showcasing local artisans, the Kids For All Seasons club, and the Baja 360° Adventure Centre.
“In an incredible market for luxury hospitality, there is a true sense of magic imbued in this last remaining beachfront on the famous Golden Corridor,” says Richard Raab, General Manager, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. “Lead by our passionate team of hospitality experts, the Four Seasons Cabo Del Sol experience is a daily celebration of this magical landscape, Mexican heritage, and modern, laid-back luxury.”
Stay
Guests are warmly welcomed in the cobblestone-covered La Plaza (“the square”), where the gentle Sea of Cortez breeze greets them as they enter La Casona (“the home”). Instead of a standard front desk, the check-in process takes place over a refreshing drink on a comfortable oversized sofa, making guests feel instantly at home.
The accommodations redefine luxury beachfront living, offering unparalleled space and thoughtful design. The seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living is achieved with retractable, floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to the Sea of Cortez and expansive outdoor terraces. Each space features private plunge pools and outdoor showers, enhancing the connection to the stunning natural surroundings.
“Our accommodations are redefining luxury beachfront living,” says Edgar Niebla, Resort Manager, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol. “From our 79-square metre (847-square foot) guest rooms to our 674-square metre (7,255-square foot) oceanfront one-bedroom villas, we are welcoming guests to their Mexican home-away-from-home.”
A New Culinary Destination in Los Cabos
The resort boasts a collection of eight original dining and drinking venues, set to impress even the most discerning food enthusiasts. Under the guidance of Executive Chef Miguel Baltazar and Food and Beverage Director Matt Myers, guests can enjoy a range of experiences from casual poolside lunches to Mediterranean-style dinners, lively evenings at the La Casona lobby bar, and chic nights at Sora, Cabo’s exclusive oceanfront rooftop bar.
Each food and beverage concept takes guests on a culinary journey through a diverse tapestry of international flavors rooted in Mexico’s culinary heritage, utilizing the region’s local ingredients and inventive cooking methods.
At Palmerio, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Chef Baltazar brings the flavors of Provence and Liguria to life with locally sourced Pesca con Futuro certified seafood and regionally grown produce. The menu highlights local farmers and artisanal producers, with chefs and waitstaff eager to share the stories behind each dish.
Bar Brisal, a mixology-forward bar, draws inspiration from the casual beachside marisquerías and food carts along the coast of Sinaloa, Sonora, and Baja.
In collaboration with renowned Mexican chef-restaurateur Richard Sandoval, Coraluz offers a beach club-style Baja dining experience, while Cayao, set to open later this year, will feature Japanese-Peruvian Nikkei cuisine. Chef Sandoval also contributed to the menus at Sora Rooftop Bar.
Scheduled to open later this year, Mercado will be a village-inspired café and marketplace perfect for sipping locally roasted coffee or preparing picnic lunches for a day of exploration.
The resort also offers multiple epicurean experiences, including tequila tastings in the Agave Gallery and a “pasta lab” where Chef Alberto Saavedra teaches the art of handmade pasta for Palmerio.
Children under five enjoy complimentary meals at all resort restaurants.
Relax and Play
Situated along the stunning coastline where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, the swimmable beach offers crystal-clear waters perfect for snorkeling, scuba diving, or freediving, all available through the Baja 360° Adventure Centre. Guests can also partake in surf-fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, boogie boarding, kayaking, or riding a water-skimming Schiller bike.
Families and friends can engage in beach games or take a boat trip to see El Arco, the famous Los Cabos Arch. From November through April, guests can enjoy prime whale watching, and the area also offers exceptional stargazing opportunities.
The resort features three large pools and hot tubs, including an adults-only pool, a family pool with shallow splash areas, and a spa pool, all nestled in tropical, garden-like settings overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Complimentary shaded loungers surround each pool, and private cabanas are available for daily booking.
For those seeking relaxation or rejuvenation, Four Seasons offers personalized Pilates, yoga, and active meditation sessions. The ocean-view fitness center, designed by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, includes spin classes and state-of-the-art equipment.
Tierra Mar Spa incorporates the wisdom of the local Kumiai tribe into modern treatments using indigenous botanicals. The spa features ten treatment rooms, including two couples’ suites, and offers skincare products from 111SKIN and Apotheca Beauty. The full-service salon and nail bar uses Mexican cosmetics line Xixanthe.
Guests can also enjoy the award-winning Cabo Del Sol golf course, originally designed by Tom Weiskopf and recently renovated by Fry Straka.
Young guests can explore their creativity at Papalote, the resort’s fully supervised and complimentary Kids For All Seasons facility for children ages 4 to 12, with activities ranging from sandcastle building and pirate treasure hunts to kids’ yoga and wildlife discovery walks.
Weddings in Paradise, and More
The resort’s stunning grounds and oceanfront lawns provide the perfect setting for weddings, with a variety of indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodating up to 250 guests.
