This year’s IBHM program focuses on the multifaceted nature of Black heritage. From the vibrant cultural scene in Brazil to the literary works of Senegalese author Aminata Sow Fall and the success stories of Black business mavericks, the program celebrates a range of achievements and perspectives.

- Spotify Playlist: A curated selection of music from across the African diaspora, featuring artists from various countries.
- Book Selection: A partnership with the Goethe-Institut offering a curated selection of works by Afro-German authors.
- Art Exhibition Support: Backing for the greenhouse2024.com project, showcasing Black artists at the prestigious Venice Biennale.
Promoting Unity and Equality
IBHM founder Bruce Reynolds emphasizes the importance of celebrating cultural diversity and fostering equality. He highlights the societal benefits of inclusivity, which drive innovation and progress in addressing global challenges.

IBHM takes place in June to coincide with significant cultural observances around the world, including Juneteenth (USA), Windrush Day (UK), Portugal Day, Keti Koti (Netherlands), and Youth Day (South Africa).
