Latvian national airline, airBaltic, has unveiled its new summer season onboard menu, featuring over 45% locally sourced products from Latvia, available on all airBaltic flights. This selection includes a variety of snacks, drinks, and meals crafted by various Latvian manufacturers.
New additions to the menu include Rocket Bean coffee and tea, Rudy’s Kombucha, and Rīga crafted cider by Tālava. Furthermore, meals in both Business Class and Economy Class are prepared using Latvian products.
Zane Eglīte, Inflight Service Manager at airBaltic: “When it comes to planning a new seasonal menu, we always strive to understand our customers’ preferences while exploring ways to introduce new products. It is very important for us to include products from Latvia on board. By doing so, we not only meet our customers’ needs during the inflight service but also promote these products to a global audience, including passengers from around the world.”
“We are continuously analyzing our inflight assortment and looking into new products to implement in our menu, to provide our passengers with a wider range of options,” Eglīte added.
In addition to the inflight menu, airBaltic provides its Business Class passengers with a seasonal three-course meal, crafted by a chef using Latvian ingredients. A wide selection of beverages is also available throughout the flight. Economy Class passengers can pre-order their meals from over 25 options before their flight.
airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria, connecting to a diverse range of destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.
