Air Seychelles, the country’s flagship airline, has won two prestigious titles at the 2024 World Travel Awards: “Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline – Economy Class” and “Indian Ocean’s Leading Cabin Crew.”
In a statement released on Monday, Sandy Benoiton, the CEO of Air Seychelles, expressed profound pride and gratitude for the accolades.
The airline competes in the Indian Ocean region, contending with other carriers like Air Austral and Air Mauritius. Winners from each region are set to compete at the Grand Final later in the year.
The nominees for the Grand Final will be unveiled in the final quarter of the year, and a public voting process will be initiated to support the national carrier during this phase.
Moreover, the Seychelles, a picturesque archipelago in the western Indian Ocean, was also celebrated as the ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Beach Destination’ and ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading Nature Destination.’
Additionally, the Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island earned the title of ‘Indian Ocean’s Leading New Resort.’
The World Travel Awards are recognized globally as one of the most esteemed events in the travel and hospitality sectors, acknowledging outstanding achievements across these industries.
